Bridal Party is an exploration of artifacts and personal history. I scanned images of the bridal party from my parents' wedding album, then printed them on cardboard using the cyanotype process. This created a unique artifact that was oxymoronic in its creation. I then scanned the cardboard, printed the scans on lovely photo paper, and embellished the images with gold leaf. The images that were initially collecting dust, were taken on a journey to a status of impermanence, then elevation.
